Kedarnath Temple

Kedarnath Temple is one of the 12 Jotilinghas of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath is situated in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district. It is located on the banks of the Mandakini River at a height of 3,583 metres above sea level. The temple first opened to the public in April and will remain open until November. 

  • The best time to visit is during the summer (April to June).
  • For fewer crowds, you can visit in the winter.
