Chopta is called the “mini Swaziland” of Uttarakhand. It is located in the Rudraparayag district of Uttarakhand. Chopta is a famous hill station. In winter, tourists visit here for snow activities and to enjoy the snowfall. In summer, this is a Himalayan grassland, and people come here to visit Tungnath temple, one of Panch Kedar’s. The weather of chopta is on coller side.
- In summer, the maximum temperature is around 20 to 25 degrees Celsius during the day and 5 to 10 degrees at night.
- In winter, the daytime temperature is 5 to 15 degrees Celsius, and at night it falls to -10 to 15 degrees Celsius.
